Our service begins with the initial contact of the prospective customer through the request for a free estimate for desired services. We strive to provide our prospective customers with a detailed and exact estimate describing explicitly all work and materials needed to complete the job professionally, attached with our 1 and 2 year professional guaranteed warranty. Following the initial request for a free estimate, our branch manager will contact the customer to determine the best available time and day to conduct the estimate. The manager will then begin the estimate by thoroughly examining the residence with the customer to identify all areas that need service. Upon the acceptance of using EPS as your exclusive painting service, the manager will schedule an appropriate date to begin the specified work on the property. After the customer selects the products he/she wishes to use on their household, the painting team will begin the most imperative process of the operation, the preparation. The preparation plays such an essential and time consuming element in the process of providing customer satisfaction by removing all problem areas to ensure there is a sound surface created for the paint to adhere to.
There are several steps to proper preparation:
Power washing: Pressure washing removes all loose paint debris from the structure assuring a clean surface area.
Scraping: Scraping will remove all of the loose paint and debris still attached to the structure following the power washing
Sanding: Sanding is the most imperative step; this will smooth out any rough surfaces created from scraping and remove any loose particles from the structure that remain to create a sound surface to begin painting.
Caulking: Caulk is used to seal any gaps or imperfection found, giving the finish a nice even look.
Priming: Priming is applied to all areas that expose bare wood as a result of scraping and sanding, or if the customer chooses we can prime the entire structure giving a nice sound surface for the next step.
Painting
Rolling: Rolling is a method of paint application, used on rough areas such as masonry, stucco, or large interior surfaces where a brush would be inadequate.
Brushing: Brushing is the best method for exterior application, areas in need of cutting, and the painting of molding and trim, to apply a finish that will last an extended period of time.
